Health & Wellness

At Riverside Healthcare, our commitment to bringing you the best care possible extends beyond the exam room. We are dedicated to helping the people who call our community home live stronger, healthier lives. Your quality of life is important to Riverside because this is our community, too. That’s why we developed a full-service Health and Wellness program that provides all the resources you need to lead a healthier, happier life.

From classes and support groups to health screenings and our state-of-the-art fitness center, our caring team is here to help you reach your personal health and wellness goals.

A Healthier You

Before beginning your health and wellness journey, we encourage you to get the health screenings you need to detect and prevent common diseases, such as breast cancer, osteoporosis, and stroke. After consulting with your doctor, it’s time to lace up your athletic shoes and visit our state-of-the-art fitness center. With group exercise classes, personal training, cardio machines, an indoor track and pool, massage therapy, and more, there’s a lot to explore. Our team of fitness experts can help you choose the right type of membership for you.

We’re also committed to teaching future generations about health and wellness. That’s why we created our Fit 4 Life program—to help end childhood obesity by keeping children fit and active. The monthly hourlong program includes the following:

  • Fun exercises such as Zumba, yoga, and fitness training
  • Healthy eating tips
  • Age-related discussions on topics such as bullying, peer pressure, and safety

Care For The Whole Person

We understand that your mental and emotional health are an important part of your physical wellness. Connecting with others who are going through the same thing can be a powerful part of healing. At Riverside, we offer a variety of support groups for people battling addictions and living with chronic health conditions.

Here are a few of the support groups we offer:

  • Diabetes
  • Drug addictions
  • Eating disorders
  • Gambling
  • Heart failure
  • Stroke survival
